Crowd alignment: Face. Sort of.

Description - Grounded bridging reverse chinlock, aka Brian Kendrick's Captains Hook. Sometimes set up by an over the shoulder snapmare, or just floating over into a bridge. ( youtu.be/J2l4p5FIRhA
Bonus ultimate finisher: Aerial Assassination
Description - corkscrew 450 degree "Phoenix" splash, done off the highest structure he can find. For use in big matches or last resort ONLY. Rarely ever does it just off the top rope. I'm talking top of a ladder, top of a cage, top of a scaffold. This is it, the big crash or burn, the ultimate card to be played when the moment is right, his Blue Eyes White Dragon as it were. If hit, it's not really a kick out question, he either hits it successfully or he goes down in flames, hence it's relative rarity.
Wrestling/Fighting Style: Scrappy, X-Divisiony, high impact offense. Blends strong style-stiff kicks and knees along with super fast-paced high flying.
Favorite Moves:
1. Skyward Sword - running single leg dropkick/ Roderick Strong's Sick Kick. ( youtu.be/GJbyZ5JkhT8
2. Mushroom Stomp - top rope double foot stomp.
3. Chain of Memories - bridging straightjacket German suplex/ Adam Cole's Florida Key ( youtu.be/pnxgKbEX-IU
4. Nocturne of Shadows - snap rolling cutter/ Cody Rhodes Crossrhodes ( youtu.be/uQTrlGtl7R8
5. Emblem Heartless - MMA style flying knee to the face.
6. Breath of the Wild - somersault reverse DDT/ Tetsuya Naito's Destino ( youtu.be/s3IBt4Ay2Ug
Regular moves: Three vertical suplexes (Three amigos style), double or single knee facebuster, sitout facebuster (X-Factor), brainbuster, sliding short reverse STO, barrel roll suicide dive, surfboard stretch into a curbstomp, octopus stretch, Pele kick, flying elbow drop, double-arm DDT, leg drop bulldog, double jump moonsault.
Entrance Music: "In The Morning and Amazing" by Circa Survive.
Entrance description: The opening notes of "In The Morning And Amazing" by Circa Survive begins to play. The big screen shows shots of Kyle’s matches. Kyle Shane steps slowly out onto the stage. The Assassins hood to his longcoat is pulled low over his face. The distinctive voice of Anthony Green hits the bridge: "And how could anyone, you are in my dreams. Half human, half machine. You with someone else that I have felt and seen. I cannot rest, or my consciousness contest. Looking right through the lens. From winter brings the spring again..." Kyle tilts his head back and holds his arms out, taking in the reception of the crowd. The crowd gets on it's feet for the returning God of Game. There are pockets of people that are irritated and give their negative reaction to the flippy, smarky, self-absorbed Game Changer, but a vast majority of the people know his history and his accomplishments, if not his in-ring prowess. Some even give him a fanning bow as Kyle swaggers down the aisle. 1/2 the way down the aisle, Kyle pivots, holding his arms up to either side of him. He climbs onto the apron. Kyle balances on the ropes for a moment, points to himself and smirks, holding his arms out, and then he hops down, takes off his longcoat and stretches a few times to get ready.
Background info: At this point, everyone knows who Kyle Shane is and what he's about. Those that don't know, more can be filled in along the way. His mother died when he was 10. Growing up in a trailer park, alcoholic abusive dickhead father, escaping to MIT to become a schmoozing, drug peddling, potheaded game nerd. Coming to wrestling. XWF Reboot, several titles. WGWF, many more titles, Hall of Fame nod, cornerstone of the fed for a few years, yadda yadda. Kyle does have a small circle of acquaintances and a love interest, but his cold, aloof and hard to understand demeanor makes sure he's always at odds with them. That's the bare bones.
But what's important to know about Kyle Shane right now is this:
Kyle Shane is dissatisfied with his life and feeling adrift. He maybe never meant to get so entrenched in wrestling, but he's here, and he's made it work. His mercurial nature and aloofness makes it hard for him to stay connected, so his first deep down instinct is to run, but there is some kind of spark in Kyle Shane that makes him fight. He is always at war with his nature, of left brain and right brain. But he is first and foremost confident in his abilities. He sees himself as at a crossroads, but also presented with a unique challenge. To define himself on an entirely different stage. To show everyone who and what he is: a paradigm shift in human form. A Game Changer.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION/ATTIRE: Kyle is a relatively tall, well built young man, thin, with longish legs, and a compact but extremely cut body. Some would even say scrawny, with a long neck. But a boyishly handsome face. His auburn hair is gelled up into a quiff, and he has a little bit of stubble. He has a sleeve of very nerdy tattoos on his left arm, a montage of classic NES characters and a LoZ Tri-Force, a 1-up mushroom, a coin box, etc. He has a ring of seven Dragon balls on his right shoulder.
Out of the ring attire: He usually wears either a well-cut black suit (for swag effect) with an open necked white shirt, and black Italian loafers. Or else, for comfort, low-rider jeans and a video game or comic book t-shirt.
In ring attire: Kyle sports professional looking wrist tape, and a pair of short wrestling trunks with bare legs down to the knee. The trunks are white and red, and have an 8-bit graphic box border saying "Game Changer". His knee pads are white, and have a red Kingdom Hearts Heartless crest on the kneecap. He has black boots with white kick-guards. To the ring, he wears a white pirate long-coat with a hood, with red trim, very much in the style of Conner Kenway from "Assassin's Creed". On the back of the coat is a red phoenix flame design. Kyle takes the longcoat off before he wrestles, and prefers to wrestle bare chested.
STRATEGY/STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Strengths: 1) Speed. Just a lightning quick, slippery bastard.
2) From a mental standpoint, Kyle is the ultimate gamer. He sees everything as a boss battle, as a challenge to overcome, and his mind is always working on solving the problem in front of him, one way or another. He is obsessed with getting better, levelling up, raising his game in a big match and making sure he puts out the best effort.
3) COMBOS. Kyle is adept at chain wrestling and unleashing a series of combos, floatovers, reversals.
4) Resilience. Kyle can take a large, extensive amount of punishment, but refuse to give up. Will often get back up and ask for more.
Weaknesses: 1) Cockiness. Kyle is a true gamer, and have you ever tried to tell a gamer that they suck? It doesn't work. He think he's the best and nobody can tell him he may be wrong.
2) Conversely to that, he is pitbull tenacious, as many gamers are wont to be. When his back is to the wall, he fights hard, and sometimes can cross the line when pushed too far.
3) Smaller stature. Not the biggest or strongest in the ring, can’t win a power game against bigger, stronger opponents.
4) Kyle is just... he's a prick. Even as a face. He's contrary, in your face, and annoying. He knows how to push some buttons, and he can get under the skin of anyone, the crowd, or even referees, which can work to his disadvantage.
Wrestling style annotations for match writers: Kyle comes from a mold of the wrestlers that are breaking out of the underground. His style comes at the sort of speed and pace that flusters purists of the sport, think the way the Will Ospreay/Ricochet aerial fuel was received over the summer. So most, if not all of his arsenal, is tailored that way. Where it looks like Kyle is constantly hitting devastating, almost finishing moves at breakneck speed. This, combined with his leg strength, is his biggest asset. He starts out with weardown strikes, small, quick, but stinging enough to leave a mark, and gradually eats up his opponents HP. A lot of this is thanks to those legs. He will be throwing knees, kicks, and leg lariats more than punches. But as the strikes start getting harder and he begins unleashing the heavier artillery, that's when his game plan comes into effect. And where his opponents will begin having trouble keeping up.
But he will save the truly suicidal aerial stuff for if he's in a big match, ladder match spot, or a heated feud and determined to finish off flashy. He doesn't Leeroy Jenkins off script, he sticks pretty well to this plan.
